# Cox workplace additions — October 10, 2026

Four original attachments represent three sources: two presentations by Steven with audience contributions, and the Cox memorial in HTML/JSON formats. Originals are byte-identical to the attachments.

The 29 memorial posts and two comments are secondary recollections; contributor-attributed quotations are labeled as such. Two embedded JPEG images are extracted with original attachment metadata retained. Exact full presentation URLs from the HTML are retained separately from the shorter URLs in JSON. The two linked presentation recordings were subsequently supplied as downloads and moved here; other external resources have not been fetched.

The two provided VTT transcripts retain cue IDs, times, speaker labels and payloads in cues.json; TXT, SRT and HTML reading copies preserve wording. Overlapping cues are retained and counted, not repaired. No transcript has been checked against audio, and no model or exact presentation date is inferred. The 2025 Engineering Summit attribution comes from Jason Antman’s memorial post.

corpus.jsonl contains one record per transcript cue or memorial post, distinguishing Steven’s speech, audience contributions and recollections about him. Imported captions are not new audio/video recordings and should not be submitted to a transcription service.

Workplace material is retained locally. This import does not establish publication rights. Nothing has been published or submitted to the Internet Archive.

## Original video recordings added

Both downloaded MP4s are now beside their transcripts, with playback in each READ.html. Original filenames and bytes are preserved; both source files were moved out of Downloads. SHA-256 hashes, 1080p video/audio streams and cue duration bounds were verified. No additional transcription is needed for these supplied-caption recordings.

Deep Meaning at Work has a recording date of **2025-09-24**. Not Your Job: The Art of Defiance has a recording date of **2026-01-06**. Each date is supported by the filename and embedded MP4 creation_time, rather than independently confirmed event scheduling. The latter conflicts with the memorial contributor’s 2025 attribution; the original recollection remains unchanged.
