see meditation ~611?
it’s what you believe about what you feel
prescription pickup experience “It will be okay.”
advice more than prediction, but both.
advice to believe this myself. that, despite the fact that my psichiatriast is on vacation for 2 weeks with limited access to the internet, somehow I will get the Rx filled
sure enough, minutes later I get the automated message from the pharmacy (notoriously flakey, requiring multiple visits and/or calls to prod them along) that the prescription is filled and ready for pickup
no problems
you can endlessly try to spin all the parts of the world to work in your favor, or you can simply create what you want directly. cheat, in other words
it would have been A LOT more work to worry, have her not answer, then go through the emergency backup person, fight my pharmacy to accept the prescription or give me a temporary fill (which they aren’t supposed to)
see also: the “anxiety or excitement” reframe trick
this is that, except way grander. just do the same thing for everything
